Pleasanton Family Residences
Our clients for this project are three brothers whose intention is to provide homes for their families that take advantage of the open landscape of the property, the temperate climate, and proximity to the town of Pleasanton.

The three houses are relatively modest in scale and traditional in character, with styles evolving from Vernacular Farmhouse to California Craftsman. The design of the houses, including their massing, detailing and materials, balances a sense of variety with an overall coherence. The general feel will be of a traditional late 19th century to early 20th century subdivision that has been built up over time, rather than all at once. The architectural design, construction quality and materials of the houses and site improvements will be of the highest quality — using up to date environmentally responsible site design, architectural and engineering design and construction methods and natural, durable and low embodied energy materials.
